Virtual Design Workspace makes it easy to develop a new network design similar to one you’ve already deployed by using a “snap shot” of the existing site or customer network. You can also build reusable configurations for new designs—saving valuable time and resources. Importantly, by bringing your existing network into the Virtual Design Workspace, you can build in new features without disrupting the production network.

With Virtual Design Workspace, your design team can work collaboratively to customize a design quickly to meet the new network’s requirements. Full role-based security allows you to restrict who can see which configurations, as well as who can propose and approve changes to the design. Virtual Design Workspace allows you to customize design-change approval to align with your business processes—from using a single approver to requiring the sign-off of your entire change board. In addition, you can make changes with standardized ITIL change forms based on approved golden configurations for device type, class, and role, and then approve design changes with VoyenceControl NG’s ITIL-compatible multilevel workflow.

When you start your design, VoyenceControl 4.0 displays an icon indicating that the device configuration in the real world has changed or that your new design differs from the device in the real world. You can also use side-by-side comparisons of configurations to quickly display where the changes are.
