New Voyence Release Provides Powerful Solution for Network Automation and Policy Enforcement

Company’s latest release of VoyenceControl provides CiscoWorks RME integration, enhanced compliance with corporate governance and increased ease of diagnostics and reporting.

VoyenceControl automates complex and routine engineering tasks such as adding devices and connections. The integration of CiscoWorks RME and VoyenceControl provides a centralized network configuration management solution where Cisco customers can continue to use RME to manage Cisco devices. Because VoyenceControl treats RME as a device server, customers can manage device changes from either VoyenceControl or RME with all change, configuration and compliance information available in the central VoyenceControl repository for auditing and reporting.

VoyenceControl 3.3 increases compliance with corporate governance through new features including pre-loaded templates and Policy Manager, which automatically checks and remediates configuration changes against policies. VoyenceControl 3.3 also provides enhanced viewing, searching and diagnostic capabilities to increase ease of use and save time. New reporting capabilities help customers meet audit and corporate governance requirements.

Global Device Search: Filter search criteria based on IP Address, Host Name, Configuration, and Hardware to search for devices throughout the network.

Event Manager: View activities that have transpired on the network: access the log and view the event (Security, System or Device), the owner (or user), the network that was accessed, the date/time the event was logged and more.

Automated diagnostics: Set up commands to run diagnostics automatically on devices within specific device classes, and then display and compare data that details new configuration revisions.

Auto-populate templates: VoyenceControl 3.3 now offers examples with preloaded data for creating individualized tests and templates.

New and enhanced reporting functionality: Reports have been enhanced and extended to include duplicate IP address, scheduled jobs, device detail, user activity, inventory, device vulnerability, baseline, device change, device connection, IP address, OS management, and compliance audit.
