In this Webcast, Schrodel and Colville explore how compliance affects how the enterprise views IT and how the IT organization is evolving to meet these new dynamics. The speakers also provide recommendations on improving processes, including setting and enforcing policies and standards.

Schrodel has more than 20 years of technology management experience and five years as CTO with Voyence. He is the author of several white papers and articles and a frequent presenter at industry conferences.

Colville is a vice president in the IT Operations Management group at Gartner. Her area of research is configuration management, which includes server provisioning and configuration, IT Service Dependency Mapping technologies, and traditional desktop management. The latest addition to her area of coverage includes Configuration IT Service Dependency Mapping technologies, traditional desktop management and Configuration Management Database (CMDB). For 10 years prior to joining Gartner, Ms. Colville was a senior networking specialist at IBM, where she assisted Fortune 100 clients and midsize enterprises with development and deployment of their networking and communications architecture.
