NEW VOYENCE RELEASE BRIDGES GAP BETWEEN NETWORK AND SECURITY CONFIGURATION MANAGEMENT

New Security Features Include Cisco PIX and ASA Firewall Configuration Management and improved TACACS or RADIUS Support

The new enhancements reduce time needed to identify potential IT security breaches by unifying network and security device configuration management into a single VoyenceControl console.

• Change jobs to be executed with a “one-time” use credential set.
• Administrators to define the credential scheme that will be used on a global or per network basis.

Additional VoyenceControl security enhancements include:

• New device coverage for Cisco PIX Firewall version 7 and Adaptive Security Appliance (ASA) gear.
• Improved support for LDAP authentication mechanisms.

“The new security reporting and accounting features join Voyence’s existing support for sensitive information masking and secure device communications (SSHv2, SNMPv3 and SCP), making VoyenceControl the best choice to shore-up security devices with change and configuration management,” Orzechowski added.

• Alcatel-Lucent OmniSwitch 6602 and 6624 series.
• Any F5 BIG-IP device running v9
• Additional Cisco CSS models (11501, 11503, and 11506)
• Force 10 E150, E300, E600, E610, and E1200
• Edgewater EdgeMarc 4200, 4300T, 4500, 5300, and 6400 series.
