Voyence Announces Deborah K. Maccallum As Vice President Of Engineering

Richardson, Texas, April 13, 2006 – Voyence, a technology visionary in automating network change and configuration management, today announced the appointment of Deborah K. MacCallum as vice president of engineering. A veteran of the network systems management market, MacCallum will leverage her extensive experience and software development skills to lead the Voyence engineering team as it further enhances the VoyenceControl NG solution to meet customers’ growing demands for automated configuration management solutions.

Prior to joining Voyence, MacCallum was vice president and co-founder of Silverback Technologies, Inc, where she managed the company, product, and customers through several major technology shifts including: Linux to Windows, centralized to distributed architecture, and most recently to policy-based software as a service (SaaS) offering. Additionally, her product vision of merging network security and monitoring enabled the company to effectively expand in the enterprise and service provider markets.

MacCallum will draw upon her development experience as director of remote management services at Nortel Networks, where she successfully introduced new services throughout the U.S. and European markets. Additionally, MacCallum’s experience includes: managing large-scale network simulation and development at Bay Networks, senior engineer at Raytheon and senior engineer at Intermetrics, where she was responsible for the design and development of the Space Shuttle Data Management capabilities.
