Voyence Partners With German-Based ComConsult

Richardson, Texas, March 9, 2006 - Voyence™, a pioneer in automated change and configuration management solutions, today announced that it has signed a partnership agreement with ComConsult, a leading communications systems integrator in Europe and the leading vendor of advanced Configuration Management Database (CMDB) technologies.

ComConsult will integrate VoyenceControl NG’s lifecycle management solution to ensure customers’ network designs, device changes and compliance mandates are completely automated — minimizing human error and ensuring infrastructure stability. Complementing the lifecycle advantages, VoyenceControl NG’s Hybrid Management Architecture™ will enable ComConsult to scale the benefits of their advanced CMDB offering, AixBOMS, to gain configuration visibility and control into thousands of heterogeneous network devices among more than 120 customers throughout Europe.

Ralf Horstmann, ComConsult’s senior business service management architect, explained his customers’ need for a fully integrated change and configuration management solution.

“Our customers have rapidly embraced technologies such as our CMDB AixBOMS, as they seek to implement network configuration and compliance data as a core component to their network management strategy. We view the addition of VoyenceControl NG to our capabilities as an important part of getting pertinent and possibly service effecting data into a common configuration management database,” Horstmann said.

Voyence will also provide expert guidance, as ComConsult integrates VoyenceControl NG into existing customer platforms such as Managed Objects Formula, IBM’s Tivoli, TBSM, BMC SIM, Micromuse’s Netcool and others. VoyenceControl NG will automatically track, organize and control pertinent data relative to network configuration changes and government compliance mandates then, seamlessly forward all information into existing platforms for review.
