Voyence Partners With German-Based DICOS GMBH Kommunikationssysteme

VoyenceControl Scales to Automate Change and Configuration Management Within World’s Largest and Most Complex Networks

Richardson, Texas, February 28, 2006 - Voyence™, a pioneer in automated change and configuration management solutions, today announced that it has signed a partnership agreement with DICOS GmbH Kommunikationssysteme, a leading German systems integration company specializing in the provision of communications management systems to service providers and large corporate enterprise customers.

The agreement results in Voyence offering its flagship platform VoyenceControl, in combination with DICOS consultancy, implementation and support services for large German-based enterprise and telecommunications companies.

Dr. Winfried Geyer, managing director of DICOS, explains his company's motivation for the partnership. "We of course understand the requirement from our enterprise customers for implementing compliance procedures so that they can meet reporting requirements such as Basel II. However, our experience in implementing eTOM driven projects from service providers means that we understand why any solution for compliance needs to be integrated into the customers' existing change management processes and systems."

By seamlessly migrating compliance procedures into DICOS's existing management infrastructures, customers gain control of compliance requirements and use VoyenceControl information to reduce service-effecting problems in the existing network management systems. This fits extremely well into ITIL best practices, already implemented by most DICOS's customers.

When evaluating change and configuration management solutions, VoyenceControl stood out as the only vendor that could automate compliance procedures into a customer's environment. Another plus is the fact that VoyenceControl has interfaces to all management solutions that DICOS already supports, allowing the company to address the network change and management requirements in general.
