Voyence Joins DCML Organization

Voyence Will Contribute to Data Center Markup Language (DCML), the First Industry-wide Effort to Standardize Data Centers

Richardson, TX, March 29, 2004 — Voyence™ Inc., the leading provider of configuration management solutions for large, heterogeneous networks, today announced it has joined the Data Center Markup Language (DCML) Organization as a Contributing Member. The DCML Organization is an industry wide collaborative effort, chartered with driving the DCML specification – the first vendor neutral standard to bring IT system interoperability and utility computing to data centers.

DCML is the first standard that uses a common language for describing disparate hardware and software components within the data center. Industry leaders are joining together to write this standard and make it available for IT organizations that want to ease interoperability among the software, hardware and component mix in their data centers. As a member of the DCML organization, Voyence will bring a wealth of network configuration management expertise and help drive standards to share information regarding the network throughout the systems, applications and network management domains.
